Meet Osato
I am Osato, an overachieving Nigerian woman living in America. I have received many of my accolades, awards, and recognition by pretzeling in order to please a myriad of external forces. Hence it was beneficial for me to stay quiet, stay small, dull my light, and not make waves. It was not until the plaster mask I put on crumbled, that I realized unpretzeling was the pathway to liberation.

So here I am, still journeying towards liberation, and liberation looks different for everyone. I have given myself the permission to feel free to be me, and so can you. All Black Women deserve to shine, but in order to shine you must clear up the dust of the past, see its implications for your present, and create a future you desire. Black Woman, you deserve to live well!
A collective of healed Black Women who know their POWER have the capacity to TRANSFORM the world!
